Overview of the tour in Accra

Day 1.
Travel southeast along the coast to Ada Foah.
Tour the southern section of the Volta River with a motor boat to Rum island.
See how sugar cane is processed to make rum.
See the estuary where the Volta River meets the Atlantic Ocean.
Overnight at Ada Foah.

Day 2.
A Sacred Monkey Village.
After breakfast, leave Maranatha Beach Camp on a traditional motor boat back to Ada Foah.
Depart to the Wli Agumatsa township.
Visit an Ecovillage with a habituated monkey population of about 350.
Feed some bananas to the Mona monkeys to enjoy their friendly nature.
Overnight at Wli.

Day 3.
Wli Waterfalls, Borborbo Drumming & Dancing Performance.
Morning hike of about 2 hours through the thick semi-deciduous forest to the upper level of Wli Falls.
Enjoy the cool and refreshing scene of the waterfall from up high in the mountains.
Participate in an Ewe Borborbo drumming and dancing performance from a local cultural troupe.
Overnight at Wli.

Day 4.
Kente Weaving Village.
Set off to Accra after breakfast.
Visit an Ewe kente weaving village to see how these traditional craft is made.
