With this visit, you will be able to discover two incredible constructions from the 16th century. The Cathedral-Fortress and the Convent of Las Puras.
The first stop will be the Cathedral of the Incarnation, where we will learn about its history, origin, and some other mysteries.
Did you know that the Cathedral of the Encarnacion is a fortress? On this visit, you will learn about the mixture of architectural styles that we find in the temple, from late Gothic to Neoclassical, at the end of the 18th century. Inside, we find a parade ground that is very common in defensive fortresses. Small chapels around the girola and a magnificent choir.
The next part of the visit will be in the Convento de las Puras, a monastery founded in the 16th century, a place where you can enjoy magnificent tranquility while enjoying its rooms and all the history that is hidden in these walls.
