Overview of the tour in Amsterdam

After the success of last year's bike tour, we invite you to explore Amsterdam with our new walking tour this year.

Why Amsterdam?
Amsterdam is famous for its picturesque canals, picturesque houses, and liberal culture, which includes tolerance towards marijuana, as well as the famous Red Light District. This liberal and pragmatic spirit is an important part of Dutch culture. The city has a rich history, from the Golden Age to the Second World War, with the touching story of Anne Frank. Bicycles and houseboats characterize the urban landscape.

What to Expect
The tour includes short stops to admire and discuss various points of interest, offering a comprehensive view of the city. We will touch on historical, cultural, architectural, and religious aspects. The walk takes about 3 hours at a leisurely pace. At the third stop, at the Begijnhof courtyard, there may be a wait that could change the duration of the tour. If it is crowded or closed, I will illustrate it with photos; you can visit it every day from 9.30 to 18.00.

Meeting point

O'Donnell's, Ferdinand Bolstraat, Amsterdam, Netherlands

On arrival

The meeting point that I suggest is just behind the Heineken Experience. It's basically a square and on one side there's even a bike rental shop (De Stadsfiets 3). We can meet in front of it or in front of the O'Donnell's pub that is nearby, on the corner.

Things to note

As I have already said, the bike rent is not included so you have to rent the bikes on your own. In the city, there are many shops with various choices in terms of prices or hours of rent (just to give you an idea, the De Stadsfieta 3 rents a bike for an entire day for around 8.50€). If you rent the bike for a longer period than the duration of the tour, at the end I can also give you suggestions about other places that you can explore on your own.

Free Cancellation

You are free to cancel a booking anytime. We kindly remind you to cancel bookings you cannot arrive for. Being reported as absent decreases your customer level points and the benefits you can enjoy.
