Free Tour: Amsterdam Historical Center
Overview
You'll get a full picture of why Amsterdam is the way it is today as you stroll through the oldest part of the city. I will answer all your questions as we pass through some of the most iconic areas and at the same time you will be amused by many of the anecdotes about centuries past.
The tour is like walking with a friend who knows a lot about the area.
These are some of the topics/places we will see along the way: Founding of the city Red light district Clandestine churches Jewish quarter 17th century/East India Company Canal building and city architecture Typical Dutch food
At the end I will give you a list with a series of recommendations including places of interest and museums mentioned along the tour, as well as high quality places to eat, drink and party. For each of these recommendations you will have a direct link to buy your ticket or find out the location of the place.

Things to note
Always check the weather in Amsterdam, you never know when it is going to rain and rain is no reason for the tour to be cancelled. There are no restroom stops on the route, it is best to go to the restroom before the tour.
A minimum of 4 people over 18 years old is required for the tour. It is recommended to be at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before the tour starts. Reservations are guaranteed until the tour starts, after which your place may be reassigned to another person if you have not informed us in advance of your delay.
Groups larger than four people, even if they have made separate reservations, will only be given the option to take the tour with one payment method (15 euros per person).
