Overview
Discover the most famous tulip gardens in the Netherlands with a half-day tour of Keukenhof. Transfer from Amsterdam to Keukenhof Gardens, located between the towns of Lisse and Hillegom. In 1840, several landscape painters were commissioned to design what would become Keukenhof Park. The designers were strongly inspired by the predominant English style of the time, with flowers as an essential element.
Upon arrival at Keukenhof ("orchard" in Dutch), explore more than 32 hectares of parkland. Admire a vast collection of flowers and hybrids of different species around the old mills, lakes, fountains, and wide walks. Buy some bulbs or seeds in the greenhouses.
Stroll through the park's 4 main areas, named after members of the Dutch Oranje royal family. Discover different varieties and exhibits at the Oranje Nassau Pavilion, the Willem Alexander Pavilion, the Koningin Beatrix Pavilion, and the Koningin Giuliana Pavilion.
