Overview of the tour in Aswan

This interesting tour allows you to visit the two most important attractions in the city of Aswan.

The tour begins with a visit to the temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis, the goddess of magic. In 1972, the Egyptian government, with the help of UNESCO, began moving the temple to its current location on the island of Agilika.

This process was due to the Aswan Dam, where the temple was submerged by the rising level of the River Nile. After this tour, we take you on a visit to the Aswan High Dam, which was built in the 1960s to generate electricity and protect Egypt from the flooding of the Nile.
