Acropolis and Ancient Athens Tour
Overview
See the temple of the Parthenon and the Propylaea. Visit the Theater of Dionysus. Marvel at the Erechtheum and the Odeon of Herodes Atticus. Take a look at the stone carvings of the Caryatids and the Temple of Athena Nike. After the guided tour of the Acropolis, you'll have free time to take all the photos you want before starting the second part of our visit.
At 11:00 am we will meet in the Gate of Athena Archegetis to visit the exterior of the Roman Agora, Library of Hadrian, Ancient Agora, Hadrian's Arch, and Temple of Zeus. We'll talk about history, mythology, and endless curiosities about its ancient culture and society.

On arrival
Please be at the meeting point Acropolis Metro, 10 minutes before our tour starts.
Tickets to the site must be purchased before the activity starts. For this activity, you need to buy the following tickets:
For the low season (01/11-31/03)
- Acropolis 09:00-10:00
- Roman Agora 12:00-13:00
- Hadrian's Library 13:00-14:00
You must select the Acropolis and Slopes option, and select the date and time 09:00-10:00. You will then be able to select the type of ticket you want and the quantity. You have to do the same but for Roman Agora 12:00-13:00 and for Hadrian's Library 13:00-14:00.
For the high season (01/04-31/10) you must select the Acropolis and Slopes option, and select the date and time 08:00-09:00. We are not going to enter to the archaeological sites of Roman Agora and Hadrian's Library, so you won't need any other tickets.
If you do not have your ticket purchased, you have to go to the ticket office area of the South entrance around 30 minutes before the tour time so that you have time to buy them while waiting in line. Once they give you the tickets, you have to go to the meeting point that is less than 2 minutes walk from the ticket office
Things to note
- As the route is not adapted, child strollers will not be able to access the tour either.
- It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes and water.
- Inside the archaeological sites is not allow to eat or smoke. Only water is allowed as drink.
- Does not include the entrance. The ticket must be bought previously by the visitor.
- Does not include personal expenses.
