Athens: Acropolis Tour
Overview
Walkthrough the Acropolis dedicated to Athena, the protective goddess of the city. Learn about the long history of the capital of modern Greece. Visit the Theater of Dionysus, which seats 17,000 spectators and is used to host festivals honoring the birth of the Greek god.
Marvel at the Erechtheum, named after the demigod Erechtheus, and the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, a giant stone theater. Enjoy your guide's commentary on the ancient Greek myths behind the ruins.
Take a look at the stone carvings of the Caryatids and the Temple of Athena Nike, the smallest temple. After your tour, have free time to stay longer and explore the exceptional site at your own pace.

On arrival
The meeting point will be at the entrance of the Acropolis Metro. You must be there 10–5 minutes before the activity starts.
The ticket must be bought previously by the visitor. You can buy it online.
-For the low season (01/11-31/03) for the tour of 09:15, you'll have to buy the ticket for the time slot 09:00-10:00 and for the tour of 14:30 the ticket for 14:00-15:00.
-For the high seaon (01/04-31/10) for the tour of 08:15, you'll have to buy the ticket for the time slot 08:00-09:00 and for the tour of 17:00 the ticket for 17:00-18:00.
Note: If you can't get the ticket because there is no availability, we will help you.
If you buy it at the ticket office, you have to go to the ticket office area of the South entrance around 30 minutes before the tour time so that you have time to buy it while waiting in line. Once they give you the tickets, you have to go to the meeting point that is less than 2-minute walk from the ticket office.
