New Athens Free Tour
Overview
A free walking tour of Athens, in a fun and informative way. Our focus is the classical city of Athens. We include many suggestions of other things to do in Athens, Greece.
On this free Athens walking tour, visit the very heart of ancient Athens. Our walk is a journey through history and mythology. We may stroll through the picturesque old town of Plaka and pass the archaeological remains at the foot of the acropolis. This is where the western world began!
This activity includes:
- Acropolis of Athens
- Monastiraki Square
On arrival
We leave at 10 a.m. from the BRONZE STATUE of THESEUS in Thisseos Square which is almost directly across from the Thiseio Metro Station. Our guides will be holding a sign that reads: New Athens Free Tour
Things to note
We are running tours every day through the Christmas and New Year. Including Christmas day depending on the interests and availability of guides.
The name may be NEW, but our established team has over 10 years of experience in walking tours around the city of Athens.
We want to keep our groups to a reasonable size, so booking is STRONGLY advisable. A lot of different tours may meet or go through Thisseos Square, so make sure you are with the New Athens Free Tour Team.
