Overview of the tour in Athens

Do you know why Athens is called like that? Or what happens in Syntagma Square every hour? Let me tell you.

As a tourism graduate and huge Athenian lover, I created this tour for travelers who want to get to know this city but don't want to spend a big chunk of their day on a tour.

'Athens in a nutshell' is an EXPRESS tour which will show you major must-see places, including:
- Temple of Zeus,
- Roman Agora,
- Tower of Wind,
- Hadrian's Library,
- The oldest church in Athens was built in the 11th century.

In addition to the places we will see, you will learn about the famous Acropolis, Panathenaic stadium, and more!

Do you want to explore more of the city gems after the tour? Don't worry, I got you! Every participant in the tour will get access to a CUSTOMIZED MAP OF ATHENS with recommendations for monuments, museums, bars, restaurants, and local markets.

*There is no set price; you are free to pay your guide what you feel the tour was worth at the end of the tour. Typically, amounts range between €10 and €50 depending on how you value the experience and what you can afford.*

This activity includes:

  • Temple of Olympian Zeus
  • Tower of the Winds
  • Roman Forum of Athens (Roman Agora)
  • Arch of Hadrian (Hadrian's Gate)
  • customized map
