Overview of the tour in Athens
Athens Music walk is a journey through time and melody, introducing to you the music that has shaped Greece. Starting from ancient myths and music, then going into Byzantium times, and finishing with Rebetiko, our local musician will play and sing for you and speak about the evolution of Greek music, all while sharing personal anecdotes and stories.
This two-hour walk will take you through the heart of the city that is steeped in over 6000 years of history. Learn about this city's rich musical history with a music professional as you take in the beauty of Athens.
You will have an interesting and interactive experience as we walk through the city. Our groups will be no larger than 8, so conversations and questions about all topics are highly encouraged. Moreover, you will learn some basic steps of some of the most famous traditional dances of Greece.
