Athens Social & Political Walk
Overview of the tour in Athens
How did the ‘cradle of democracy’ become the ‘basket case of Europe’? The question may be crude and offensive, but it captures the essence of much thinking around the globe in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis.
This interactive storytelling walk is meant to have the flow and information-heavy experience of a documentary. It takes us into a comprehensive analysis, providing surprising answers. It highlights the social and political elements of Greece, from the creation of the Greek state to the current times.
The experience is aimed at people with a genuine interest in politics and those keen to learn more about the situation in Greece by conducting some first-hand research. We’ll address both historical and current events from a balanced & non-biased point of view to help you determine your views of this land for yourself.
