Excursion to Cape Sounion
Overview of the tour in Athens
The sunset at the Temple of Poseidon in Cape Sounion is considered one of the most spectacular experiences in Greece. Learn up close the story of the God of the sea, with his uncontrollable temperament and exciting adventures; have the opportunity to go to one of the three temples of the most mystical triangle of Ancient Hellas; discover the history of the ancient Athenian king whose last moments of life were in this same enclave; It runs along the southeast coast of the Attica province passing through towns such as Glyfada or Voula; and much more.
Join our 4-hour semi-private excursion in which our accompanying guide will take you on a journey through time. On the way, we will stop at the Thorikón Theater, the oldest theater in the world (free admission), and then go to the archaeological site of Sounion (tickets must be purchased before the activity). After watching the sunset, we will return along the entire coast of Attica.
