Greece in the Air, Challenges of Ancient Times
Overview of the tour in Athens
We will meet in front of the Diskobolo of Miron, proceed to the Kalamarmaro, walk to the change of guards, then to Zeus Temple and Hadrian’s arch, and continue through Plaka and the Relogion of Ariston, a glimpse of the Greek Agora and end at the Nymph hill and the Pnyx where we will be greeted by the most iconic view of the Akropolis and the Pyrrhaeus.
This tour will grapple with ancient and modern ideas and dive into the contemporary upheavals of Greece. I will invite you to question and engage in an intelligent dialogue.
This activity includes:
- Temple of Olympian Zeus
- The Pnyx
- Panathenaic Stadium
- Arch of Hadrian (Hadrian's Gate)
On arrival
The statue of the Discobolus of Myron will be on the opposite side of the stadium, and I will wear white.
Things to note
