Overview

Join me on a scenic forest hike along the rocky trails of Mount Hymettus, where you'll enjoy breathtaking views of Athens!
Discover ancient ruins, capture stunning photos, and visit the mysterious Dragon House, a small dry-stone structure built with massive stone blocks crafted without cement. Afterward, we'll relax at the local refreshment spot Kalopoula before heading back to our starting point.

Distance: 7 km
Duration: 4 hours
Elevation: 400 m
The route is suitable for beginners, with a few climbs and short, challenging sections.
We go in a small group of up to 8 people with a comfortable pace.

I'll meet you at the Kaisariani Fire lookout station "Dimitris Karamolegkos," Leof. Alimou Katechaki, Kesariani 161 22, Greece.
It’s about 20–25 minutes by taxi from the city center, Syntagma, or the Acropolis.

“Great experience with gorgeous views”

The hike was great, easy for the most part, did take take longer than planned but we stopped to take a lot of pictures. Natalia was very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

“Amazing Hiking Tour with the best Panoramic View of Athens”

It's a great tour for nature lovers that want to disconnect from the busy city and enjoy some peace and quiet but at the same time have an amazing panoramic view from the city of Athens! Our Tour Guide, Natalia is a beautiful soul with such a good energy, very patient and helpful with everything you need! I would definitely recommend this tour for tourists that would have more time to enjoy the city of Athens or residents that like hiking or discover new places in Athens or just simply escape into the nature.

“Very fun activity to do in Athens!”

I had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. Natalia is incredibly kind and approachable, making it easy to feel comfortable throughout the hike. She was attentive and thoughtful, frequently checking if I needed water breaks or wanted to take pictures. I really appreciated her willingness to adjust the pace or trail based on how I was feeling. The hike itself is perfect for beginners and offers an amazing opportunity to take in breathtaking views of Athens from the best vantage points. I couldn’t have asked for a better guide or experience!

“A beautiful and interesting walk”

Natalie is a perfect guide for a trip into the Hills of Athens. You get history and breathtaking views and good exercise. She ensures the tempo fits the group. It is a different and really nice way to experience Athens and its surroundings.
