Overview of the tour in Barcelona
As a history student at the University of Barcelona, I will be happy to show you the secrets, anecdotes, and treasures that are hidden in this wonderful city.
1. Start of the Tour: Paseo de Gracia
We will start our tour in Paseo de Gracia, you will be amazed by the impressive facades of buildings such as La Casa Batlló and La Pedrera (Casa Milà), two masterpieces of the architect Antoni Gaudí.
2 Stop: Plaza de Cataluña
Walking down Paseo de Gracia, we will arrive at Plaza de Cataluña, the vibrant heart of the city. It is the meeting point between modern Barcelona and the old town.
3 Stop: Las Ramblas
From Plaza de Cataluña, we will go down Las Ramblas, Barcelona's most famous promenade. This pedestrian street is full of life, street artists and small flower kiosks.
4 Stop: Gothic Quarter
Following our route, we will enter the Gothic Quarter, the old part of the city. We will visit the Barcelona Cathedral, an impressive Gothic jewel, and I will tell you about the most famous legends surrounding this area.
We will conclude the tour in the Plaza de Sant Jaume, where we will see the Barcelona City Hall and the Palau de la Generalitat.
