“Good but not great ”
1. I booked the tour and later received three WhatsApp messages to confirm the tour. We were also told how much to pay in these messages as well as at the beginning of the tour. And it didn't feel like recommendation. 2. You don't need to bring your headphones. You will purchase a Bluetooth earphone with a receiver device. It worked well. 3. The tour itself was interesting but some facts/legends differed from the information you can find in official guides (e. g. About St. Eulalia and the Cathedral) and some stops were left out such as the Pont of Bisbe and its legend. 4. The guide Pedro was trying to be funny, sometimes it worked something not so much but he did a good job. He and his family are true Catalans so if you feel for Catalan heritage and independence, go for the tour. 5. If you don't want to stroll through the Gotic quarter on your own without GPS, the tour is very good. 6. To be honest I also did the Complete and Original Barcelona Free Tour by artista tours which also covers the Gotic Quarter although with some different points of interest. I enjoyed the artista tour more but to do both of them I learned more about the town.

“"Free" tour”
I've done several free tours and this was the first one where the agency and the guide suggested, in an embarrassing way, a minimum amount to be paid to the guide. The concept has always been "pay what you think is fair or what you can afford" and imposing a price, especially in a European city where the euro can be heavy for tourists from other countries, is completely out of line. PS: I've always paid the guides well and I love this type of tour, but on this one, we left within the first 5 minutes after this rudeness.

“Walking tour Barcelona”
I recently had the pleasure of joining the Barcelona walking tour led by Alex, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Alex's deep knowledge of the city's history and culture made the tour incredibly informative. He presented the information in a concise and engaging manner, ensuring that we were always captivated by the stories and facts he shared. One of the highlights of the tour was Alex's ability to keep things entertaining. His enthusiasm and passion for Barcelona were evident, and he had a knack for making even the most historical details come alive. The tour was perfectly organized, with well-timed breaks that allowed us to rest and absorb the surroundings without feeling rushed. Overall, Alex's professionalism and attention to detail made this walking tour a memorable and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore Barcelona in a fun and informative way!
