On arrival

To reach Republic Square in Belgrade, follow these simple steps:

From the Airport: If you're arriving at Nikola Tesla Airport, the easiest way to reach Republic Square is by taking a taxi or the A1 shuttle bus. The taxi ride takes about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. The A1 bus is a more budget-friendly option, dropping you off near Slavija Square. From there, you can take a short walk or a local bus to reach Republic Square.

By Public Transport: Belgrade's public transportation network is extensive. If you're anywhere in the city, you can reach Republic Square by taking a bus, tram, or trolleybus. Look for lines that pass through Trg Republike or the nearby area of Terazije. For instance, tram lines 2, 5, and 10, and bus lines 26, 27, and 31 are common options.

On Foot: If you are in the city center, it's often easiest to walk. Republic Square is located at the heart of Belgrade, surrounded by landmarks like the National Museum, the National Theatre, and Knez Mihailova Street, the main pedestrian zone. Simply head towards these central points, and you’ll find yourself at the square.

By Car: If you're driving, you can enter Republic Square using your GPS or maps app. Be mindful that parking in the area is limited and often requires payment. It might be more convenient to park in one of the nearby garages and walk to the square.

Things to note

I will stand next to the monument (Knez Mihailo on his horse) at the center of the square.
