Overview of the tour in Biarritz

Hello! I am Alan, a real Basque. I will show you around Biarritz and Basque Country, which has a very ancient and special culture. I have been doing tours for two years with great success.

We walk the seashore. I explain the history from prehistoric Basque to modern cosmopolitanism of Biarritz. You will understand the 3 centuries of the English kingdom in Basque land and the loved presence of English and Americans in Biarritz!

We start at the lighthouse, where we have an overview of Biarritz. Then we walk along the coast and enjoy the seashore by the beach. You will see the emperor Napoleon 3 and his Spanish wife Eugenia's palace, where I will tell you the story of Eugenia, the gipsy empress. Nearby, we see the Russian Christian church. We end at the city center with a special highlight on Art Deco architecture and the funny 20th century: Chanel's shop, Chaplin, and Picasso.

I am a local basque with experience in guiding tours. I speak Basque, this mysterious language. I will explain the ancient Basque religion and focus on the Basque land. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU LIKE BASQUE TOPICS. My tour is cultural, poetic, and architectural, with humor! Welcome to discover Basque Biarritz!
