Overview of the tour in Bilbao

Unbelievable landscapes with incredible cliffs, exciting beaches, beautiful villages, and fascinating spots are waiting for you out there. The best part? Very few people know that some of these places exist, which makes them very quiet and relaxing. If you like scenic views and green rocky shores, this will be one of the best free tours of your life!

We will visit the following spots:

The huge cliffs and astonishing rock formations ("flysch").
The abandoned nuclear plant of Lemoiz is part of the Basque Country's recent history. An amazing view of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe. Yes, where Game of Thrones was filmed! The small chapel and the cozy seaside village of Mundaka, along with its fantastic landscape of the Urdaibai Bay Biosphere Reserve.
The iconic fishing village of Bermeo. The historic town and ancient institutions of Gernika, together with a mosaic of the Picasso that took the name of the town!

-This is a special and unique tour. It is done by car, lasts 5 hours, and small groups of up to 4 people are formed.

On arrival

The meeting and end point of the tour will be at the entrance of the Faculty of Economics of the University of the Basque Country in the Sarriko neighborhood (Facultad de Economía y Empresa de Sarriko). One of our local tour guides will be waiting for you there!

Things to note

The tour will last about the whole morning, 5 hours. At first it might seem like a lot of time, but I can guarantee you won't regret it.
The tour is available with my car at no additional cost.
If you prefer, you can also do the tour with your own vehicle.
