Discovering Birmingham & the Jewellery Quarter
Overview of the tour in Birmingham
This tour is different and great fun. We took the time to understand aspects of the city with author and photographer Jonathan Berg.
We quickly move away from the ‘touristy’ side of Birmingham and take the 'secret canal' to the Jewellery Quarter. We understand how the Jewellery Quarter developed from a country estate to a center of amazing invention and industrialization. We see how the Jewellery Quarter adds to today's city.
We look around at the modern city and understand how this place is doing in terms of its business. A fun two hours for local people and visitors alike.
Part of the ticket price is donated to a Digbeth-based charity, Sifa Fireside, which works on homeless issues in our city.
This activity includes:
- Centenary Square Birmingham
- Loan of live audio device
