Private Bodrum Castle & City Walking Tour for Cruise Passengers
Overview of the tour in Bodrum
Visit Bodrum Castle and Bodrum Museum of Underwater Archaeology with your private guide at your own pace. The Knights of St. John built the Castle in the early 15th century.
The castle was constructed using the remains of the ancient city of Halicarnassus, which was once home to the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The Castle also houses the Underwater Archaeology Museum, with its stunning collections recovered from various shipwrecks around the Mediterranean and the Aegean Sea.
There are also opportunities for shoppers and local food lovers at the end of the tour.
Local opinion and advice will be offered for local restaurants and all sorts of merchandise ranging from souvenirs to quality and upscale collector's items such as renowned Turkish rugs, carpets, home textiles, fashion clothing, traditional and classic artisan jewelry, leather and textile products, which can easily compete with the world-famous Grand Bazaar quality and prices in Istanbul.
