Overview of the tour in Bogota

The meeting point will be at the main entrance of the Luis Angel Arango Library at 10:00 AM. From there, we will tour the emblematic Chorro de Quevedo and then arrive at the Gold Museum, where you will discover the fascinating pre-Hispanic culture and learn about the ancient methods of goldsmithing. On Sundays the entrance to the Gold Museum is free.

To close the tour, we will visit the Plaza de Bolivar, a place full of history. Throughout the tour, you will have time for questions and you will learn about Bogota from a professional guide. You will find me at the main entrance of the library, address: Carrera 11 No. 4-14, where there is a statue of an ancient woman, Minerva, the Greek goddess of wisdom and arts. There, next to the goddess Minerva, I will be waiting for you with the traditional red Freetour umbrella. You can also put the name Luis Angel Arango Library in your Google Maps application, and it will be easy to get there!

Things to note

Bring tennis shoes, comfortable shoes, a jacket, cap or hat, and water, a liter will be fine.
