Overview

Bogotá is a Graffiti Capital! Uncover the stories behind the art, the country's complex past, and its aspirations for a better future!
Our free walking tour will take you through Downtown Bogotá and some of the best walls the city has to offer.

Immerse yourself in this open-air gallery and gain a deeper understanding of how urban art has become an integral part of Bogotá's identity. This is not just a tour; it's an opportunity to connect with the power of art, its links with History and Politics, and its ability to shape societies. Ultimately, you will never see graffiti and the city - any city - the same way.

We are Capital Graffiti Tours, the only tour company in Bogotá run by artists and promoters directly involved with the local street art scene. With 10 years of expertise, we are the most experienced graffiti guides in the city and the only ones who give back to the local community. Part of your donations will be used to finance social projects and new street art interventions!

“Brilliant! Just join the tour!!!”
This tour is a real experience done by local artists. You get very reflected information about the background of graffiti, included political issues. In Bogota, the capital of graffiti, you can't miss that tour!!

“Amazing Tour”
I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience. Diego’s knowledge of street art and graffiti culture was beyond impressive. He not only explained the history and evolution of graffiti but also shared insights into the local art scene, the artists, and the stories behind specific pieces. His passion for the subject was infectious, and his ability to explain complex concepts in a relatable way made the tour engaging for everyone, regardless of their familiarity with graffiti. Diego’s attention to detail was also remarkable—he pointed out hidden messages, symbols, and unique styles that I would have otherwise missed. He took the time to answer all of our questions, showing a genuine interest in sharing his expertise. Whether you’re an art enthusiast or just curious about the culture, Diego is the perfect guide to lead you through the world of graffiti. Highly recommend!

“The Authentic Graffiti Tour in Bogotá”
Highly recommend - super informative with a lot of explanation and information, Jay is an incredible guide. What's really cool is that the tour directly supports the local artists and the art scene, and there were plenty of other ways to help support the artists and the community through the tour or even through Jay directly. Fantastic experience all round

It was fascinating, it was beautiful. It was fun. Learning what's behind the murals, the street art, the graffiti. The social sources, the social goals, the social impact. Such a view into Bogota and Colombia. Just spectacular--the art, the tour

“Authentic tour”
Diego's tour was very authentic & I can only recommend it. He gave us an insight into the graffiti scene away from the mainstream and supplemented this with stories that you won't find in a travel guide, but show what graffiti wants to express.
