On arrival
To get from the Main Train Station to our meeting point for free walking tours you will need to take two trams – the journey takes about 15 minutes altogether. At the Main Train Station go to the bus stop for trams (when you are in the big foyer of the station, facing the timetables for the trains, it’s on your right-hand side). Take tram no 1 towards Petrzalka and get off at Námestie SNP (6 stops). There you change the tram no 8 and take two stops to Nám. Ľ. Štúra. You will see Hviezdoslavovo namestie (square) on your right-hand side, just before you get off the tram – a big long square with a fountain in the middle and the surrounding trees. You will find us near a big statue of Hviezdoslav with Green name tags.
