Overview of the tour in Bruges

During our workshop, you will learn, discover and, most importantly, have a lot of fun!
You will enjoy tasty Belgian Beer and Belgian Waffle made by you, with a special beer waffle batter.

1) Belgian Beer tasting: At first, we will have a beer tasting experience. You will taste 3 different kinds of Belgian beers, and we provide some interesting background information about the beer. Out of these beers, you will have to choose one that will be added to the waffle batter.

2) Belgian Waffle baking class: Afterwards, everyone will get behind their own cooking station and will learn how to make his/her own waffle batter with beer. We will take you through the process of making the waffle batter, step by step.

3) Food pairing and tasting: In the end, you can bake your own waffles and enjoy them with the topping and the beer you chose at the beginning of the experience. You can bake/eat as many waffles as you want. In the end, you will receive the recipe so you can take our expertise back home with you.

The meeting point is at Hoogstraten.
The workshop will be given in a historic building (of the year 1880) in the center of Bruges. We will add elements to the room so you can discover a bit of history about the art of making waffles.
