Overview of the tour in Bucharest

If you want to explore most of Bucharest's iconic sites without having to take two or three different tours, this is the perfect choice! It includes Calea Victoriei, which encompasses the Romanian Athenaeum, the former Royal Palace, Revolution Square, the passage with colorful umbrellas, Capșa House, University Square, CEC Palace and the National History Museum.

We will also visit the Old Town, which encompasses Macca Villacrosse Passage, Lipscani Street, the National Bank, Stavropoleos Monastery, Caru cu Bere, the Carturești Carusel bookstore, the Capitoline Magnifying Glass, the Manuc Inn, the Old Princely Court and the Palace of Parliament.

By the end of the tour, you will have a solid understanding of Romania's history and culture: how this country came into being, its transition from monarchy to dictatorship and from fascism to communism, events during the communist regime and how the Ceausescu era ended.
