Overview

If you want to explore most of Bucharest's iconic sites without having to take two or three different tours, this is the perfect choice! It includes Calea Victoriei, which encompasses the Romanian Athenaeum, the former Royal Palace, Revolution Square, the passage with colorful umbrellas, Capșa House, University Square, CEC Palace and the National History Museum.

We will also visit the Old Town, which encompasses Macca Villacrosse Passage, Lipscani Street, the National Bank, Stavropoleos Monastery, Caru cu Bere, the Carturești Carusel bookstore, the Capitoline Magnifying Glass, the Manuc Inn, the Old Princely Court and the Palace of Parliament.

By the end of the tour, you will have a solid understanding of Romania's history and culture: how this country came into being, its transition from monarchy to dictatorship and from fascism to communism, events during the communist regime and how the Ceausescu era ended. You will also learn about the origin of Dracula's nickname, the most outstanding Romanian dishes, additional tips for your stay in Romania and much more! This tour is entertaining and full of jokes and anecdotes.

“Spectacular Freetour with the best guide ”
We are three couples who were able to enjoy a couple of spectacular days in Bucharest, and all thanks to Andrada, the guide of the tour we did the first day with her... A tour of about 3 hours that was spectacular thanks to the explanations of Andrada.. The tour was very enjoyable and we saw the essential, since our incredible guide makes a dynamic tour with a touch of humor and history and very very interesting anecdotes... In addition to what she showed us on the tour, she gave us some recommendations for places where we could eat well and at a good price... Thanks Andrada ❤️❤️❤️.. Hopefully in our next freetours in other cities we will find guides as nice and qualified as you... We are waiting for you in Malaga....????????????????

“Great explanation very entertaining”
"This morning we enjoyed the Bucharest Must-See Free Tour, and it was an unforgettable experience thanks to our guide Andrada Nastase. From the very first moment, her charisma and knowledge enveloped us, making us feel part of the history and culture of Bucharest. Andrada stood out for her passion in narrating local stories, from the Romanian Revolution to the secrets behind the Palace of Parliament. We visited iconic spots such as the Kretzulescu Church, the Romanian Athenaeum and the Macca-Vilacrosse Passage, among others. Each place was accompanied by interesting anecdotes and local recommendations that made the tour unique. Andrada's attention was exceptional, always open to questions and adapting to the pace of the group. We definitely recommend this tour to anyone who visits Bucharest and wants to know its most authentic corners in an enjoyable and enriching way. Thank you, Andrada, for such a special experience!".
