Budapest Castle District Walking Tour
Overview of the tour in Budapest
Join me for an engaging tour starting at the stunning Magdalena Church as we make our way to Bécsi Kapu Tér! I’ll provide a brief overview of Hungary and Budapest’s fascinating history along the way. We’ll pause at the impressive Holy Trinity Column and admire the exterior of Matthias Church, the Fisherman's Bastion, the St. Stephen Statue, and the Ministry of Finance.
Next, we’ll stroll to the Old Buda Town Hall, stop by the charming Ruszwurm café, and see the Hussar statue. Walking through the scenic Árpád Promenade, we’ll reach the Royal Palace, where I’ll share stories about the Matthias Fountain, the statue of Eugene de Savoy, the Turul, and Sándor Palace. Our tour will conclude in front of the historic Funicular. Don’t miss this opportunity to explore the rich heritage of Budapest!
