Overview of the tour in Budapest

The Jewish Quarter is the living history of Budapest. Today it is known for the murals that decorate many of its buildings and because it is the cradle of the Ruin Bars, but the most surprising thing is that just over 60 years ago it was a ghetto! And that is why it is essential to visit it with a guide.

In our Free Tour we will visit the 3 synagogues, we will see the ghetto wall, the Monuments to the Righteous Among the Nations, the stumbling blocks, the urban art... and much more. We will talk about the Jewish people, kosher food, the Orthodox community and all its peculiarities. And on a historical level, we will focus on unraveling a very specific stage, what happened in Hungary during 1944 and 1945? When the Arrow Cross Party, the representatives of Nazism in Hungary took power.

And we are not going to lie to you, this is a vibrant, powerful and crude journey at times, but necessary? You know that he who does not know his history, is condemned to repeat it. Requirements: - A minimum of 6 people is required for the tour to begin. - Group bookings of 6 or more people must pay 8 euros or 3000 HUF per person at the beginning. Otherwise, they will not be admitted.
