St. Stephen's Basilica: Organ Concert & VIP Cupola Visit
Overview of the tour in Budapest
During the 45-minute guided tour, learn about the historical basilica, visit the dome, and have a spectacular view of the city from above - all without other visitors after opening hours! After the panoramic terrace, you will have the chance to visit the chapel where Hungary’s most sacred artifact, St. Stephen’s mummified right hand called Holy Right Hand (Szent Jobb) is kept.
Finally, you will head to the main aisle of the church, where you can admire the architectural and sculptural elements, glass mosaics, and much more. The neo-classical St. Stephen’s Basilica is the most remarkable church in Hungary, one of the most significant tourist attractions, and also the third highest building in the whole country.
The program for the concert in this amazing building was adapted by Miklos Teleki, one of the best organ artists in Hungary. Kolos Kováts, one of the most famous concert and oratorio singers in Hungary, performed the arias. The concert itself is 70 minutes long without intermission, and first-row seats are guaranteed.
