Free Tour Budapest by Night
Overview
We start at Erzsébet Square or Sissi Square, built in honor of the beloved Queen of Hungary, who, despite being one of the most beautiful women in Europe, had a very unhappy life, whose reasons we will discover throughout the tour. Next, we will stop under the imposing Hungarian State Opera, considered one of the best opera houses in the world.
From Imperial Budapest to Alternative Budapest: What is the nightlife like in the Hungarian capital? We will visit District VII, where the ruined bars and trendy bars have conquered the neighborhood, and we will also visit Gozsdu Udvar, a gallery of seven buildings that houses hostels, apartments, restaurants, pubs... mixing a modern and artistic style.
Our tour ends along the banks of the Danube, near Vigadò Square; the perfect place to end an evening, join us by the stars.

On arrival
Meeting point: Danubius Fountain, in front of the Budapest Ferris Wheel, Erzsébet Square. Look for a teal flag or umbrella with the name Strolling through Europe.
Things to note
- Our guides will be identified with a blue-green flag or umbrella and the company logo: Strolling through Europe.
- Please arrive 15 minutes in advance, as the tour will depart on time.
- Show the guide, at the meeting point, the printed booking confirmation email or via cell phone or tablet.
- For groups of more than 6 adults, the price will be 8 euros per person, to be paid to the guide at the meeting point.

How can the tour be free?
Our concept is simple — there is no set price. Instead, you tip your guide at the end of the tour whatever amount feels right to you. Typically, guests give between $10 to $50, depending on their satisfaction and budget.
Most guides accept cash or card payments, or you can do it via our app.
Free Cancellation
You are free to cancel a booking anytime. We kindly remind you to cancel bookings you cannot arrive for. Being reported as absent decreases your customer level points and the benefits you can enjoy.
