Overview
In this tour we will make an incredible walk through the most picturesque corners of the city, in a historical journey that will transport you to Colonial Buenos Aires, its architectural styles, customs and secrets. We will start in Lezama Park, bordering the neighborhood of La Boca, exactly located in the year 1536. We will go through the fascinating history of the foundation of Buenos Aires and we will try to imagine that intercultural encounter with the native peoples.
We will be delighted with architectural gems such as the Russian Orthodox Church with its neo-Byzantine style.
We will go through the XVII and XVIII centuries, where we will visit buildings founded by the Jesuits and the Betlemites, such as the Parish of San Pedro González Telmo. We will be able to take charming pictures, such as the narrowest house in the city of Buenos Aires and a sky of colorful umbrellas.
i will show you El Viejo Almacén, a traditional Tango house, where you can enjoy a spectacular show with some of the best artists of our country! We will finish visiting MAFALDA!
On the border between San Telmo and Montserrat, area of Bars, art, history, food, beer, antiques and more.
