Overview of the tour in Buenos Aires
We will start our journey in the beautiful Plaza Dorrego, at the heart of San Telmo, where we’ll dive into the world of tango and the tales of knife duels. Next, we’ll explore the San Telmo Market, discovering antiques and delicious food and imagining the lives of immigrants in its vibrant hallways.
We’ll visit the smallest house in Buenos Aires and admire the iconic statue of Mafalda. Then, we’ll proceed to the Nuestra Señora del Rosario Church to discuss the English invasions. Slowly, we’ll bid farewell to San Telmo as we enter Plaza de Mayo and its surroundings, marveling at its stunning domes and learning about its secret tunnels.
At Plaza de Mayo, we’ll admire the Cabildo, the Cathedral, the magnificent Banco Nación (formerly Teatro Colón), and, of course, the Casa Rosada.
Our final stop is the glamorous Puerto Madero, where we’ll explore the vibrant neighborhood with its iconic Woman’s Bridge, excellent restaurants and bars, and picturesque docks with sailboats.
