Overview of the tour in Caceres

We will start at the Plaza Mayor and the Palace of Isabel de Moctezuma, where you will hear the legend of the last Aztec princess. Continue to Amargura Street, where you will explore the history of "Lola", her business and the curiosities of the alley.

Visit the Co-cathedral in the Plaza de Santa Maria and learn the story of the Black Christ inside. Then, we will go to the Plaza de San Jorge, dedicated to the patron saint of the city, to discover the legend of Mansaborá, which becomes relevant on the night of April 23.

We will descend to the Arco del Cristo, known for its romantic history and its role as access to the walled enclosure of Cáceres, dating from the 1st century.

We will explore the Old Jewish Quarter, a key place in the Historical Complex of Cáceres. We will pass through the alley of Don Alvaro, or "alley of bones" because of its walls full of real bones, and we will go to the Casa del Sol.

We will observe the gargoyles of the Casa del Moro, which will reveal one of the most tragic legends of the city. To end the tour, we will enjoy a tasting of Extremaduran products in the Plaza Mayor of Cáceres.

- Free Tours do not have a fixed price; instead, at the end of the tour, each person can offer the guide the amount he/she deems appropriate, according to the level of satisfaction with the tour.

- For this guided tour, reservations are not accepted for groups of more than 6 people. In case of larger groups, either in a single reservation or in several separate reservations, it will be necessary to pay 8€ per adult before starting the tour. If this payment is not made in advance, we will not be able to admit the group to the tour, and the guide may ask them to leave the tour. We will conclude at the Plaza Mayor to discover the history of the balcony of the city.

- According to the decree 37/2015 of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, the guide must establish a price for this service. The cost will be one euro per person.
