Carnival Cadiz Free Tour
Overview
We will immerse ourselves in its curiosities and funny stories: controversial lyrics, rivalry with other carnivals or between the groups themselves, artists who have left their mark... In this way we will understand perfectly the influence of this party in the city and its society and we will decipher why it has become such a famous event.
We will walk through the must-see places of the city as we walk along the "Caminito del Falla", strolling from the City Hall to the Caleta Beach through several points and, of course, through the Gran Teatro Falla, the temple of all the people of Cadiz and lovers of its carnival. We will discover how the carnival groups prepare their performances throughout the year and learn that these are not only entertainment, but also a way to preserve and transmit local traditions.

On arrival
Meeting point: Plaza San Juan de Dios, between the kiosk of the City Expert Visitor Center and the Casa de los Pazos Miranda. Look for a blue-green umbrella or flag with the Paseando por Europa logo.
PARKING IN CÁDIZ
Due to the difficulty of finding parking in the historic center of Cadiz, we leave you some parking lots near the meeting point that you may find useful:
-1. Parking Canalejas-San Juan.
-2. Parking Saba Train Station, Cádiz.
-3. Parking Muelle Pesquero.
Things to note
- Our guides will be identified with a blue-green umbrella or flag and the company logo: Strolling through Europe.
- Please arrive 15 minutes in advance as the tour will depart on time.
- Show the guide, at the meeting point, and the booking confirmation email, either printed or by cell phone or tablet.
- Group bookings of more than 6 adults will be charged €8 per adult. Maximum 3 children per adult.
- Groups of more than 6 adults, even if they have made several separate bookings under different names, have to pay €8 per adult. Otherwise, they will not be accepted on the tour and the guide may ask them to leave the tour.

How can the tour be free?
Our concept is simple — there is no set price. Instead, you tip your guide at the end of the tour whatever amount feels right to you. Typically, guests give between $10 to $50, depending on their satisfaction and budget.
Most guides accept cash or card payments, or you can do it via our app.
Free Cancellation
You are free to cancel a booking anytime. We kindly remind you to cancel bookings you cannot arrive for. Being reported as absent decreases your customer level points and the benefits you can enjoy.
