Cairo's Cultural Gems Egyptian Museum & Downtown Walk
Overview of the tour in Cairo
Embark on a captivating half-day journey through Cairo with our Tour. Starting at 9:00 AM, you'll dive into history at the Egyptian Museum, home to the world’s largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts, including the treasures of Tutankhamun. As we explore the museum together, I’ll share stories and insights that bring these ancient relics to life. At 11:00 AM, enjoy an hour of free time to revisit your favorite exhibits or discover new areas at your own pace.
At 12:00 PM, we'll head to a nearby local restaurant for a delightful lunch, where you’ll savor traditional Egyptian dishes like koshari, a flavorful mix of rice, lentils, pasta, and falafel, crispy. Lunch costs 10 USD per person. You can add it when booking the tour. Infants only are free. After lunch, join me for a leisurely walking tour through Cairo’s bustling downtown. You'll experience the city's vibrant atmosphere, historic architecture, and lively markets.
We'll also stop at a local café where you can relax with a non-alcoholic drink and watch the world go by as locals enjoy their afternoon, sipping drinks and smoking shisha.
The tour concludes at 2:00 PM, and I’ll guide you back to catch your ride.
