Kayaking at the Lagoon Nichupte
Overview of the tour in Cancun
Enjoy a unique kayaking experience among the mangroves of the Nichupte Lagoon. Follow your guide on a 3-hour tour through the aquatic landscape while taking in spectacular views of the local flora and fauna.
Begin the day with an introductory safety briefing and lessons on how to kayak. Enter the mangrove forest and admire the wide variety of birds that inhabit the ecosystem.
Visit several canals and lagoons and, if you are lucky, observe some of the exotic animals that live in the area. Some species of birds and fish you may see are albatrosses, herons, hawks, cormorants, cao birds, manta rays, barracudas, puffer fish, marlin, starfish and many others.
Stop to take some pictures and recharge your batteries with a bottle of water and some fruity snacks before returning to your lodge. You can choose to do the activity early in the morning, at noon with the beautiful Cancun sun or at sunset.
