Overview of the tour in Cartagena, Spain

After a brief introduction at the meeting point on the physiognomy of the city, we look at the port, the reason for its foundation. We visit the naval environment of the Arsenal and the Isaac Peral Submarine.

Back to the area of the Town Hall, we go through historic streets punctuated by modernist facades and among ancient sites, with exterior views of the theater and part of the Forum of the Roman imperial period. The Plaza de San Francisco will take us back to modernist airs to end up returning to the central axis of the city center in front of the Gran Hotel.

Cartagena before and today, with gastronomic touches and suggestions to continue diving in the city and its surroundings. A good starting point to get to know the city for which Carthaginians and Romans, Visigoths and Byzantines, Muslims and Christians, civilians and soldiers, etc. fought. On arrival

At the exit of the Town Hall Square (Palacio Consistorial) towards the port, in front of the Tourist Office, you will see the Military Government with a light blue facade. On its first floor, where the lawn begins, you will see a poem written on a tile mosaic with the statue of the Replacement Sailor in front of it. That will be our meeting place.
