Wild Adventure On Mount Etna
Overview
We will walk on ancient craters now extinct, silent witnesses of spectacular eruptions. I will tell you the history of Etna, its origin and most memorable eruptions, helping you to read in the landscape the traces left by the volcano over the centuries.
Exploration of a lava cave:
We will descend into the bowels of the volcano to explore a lava cave. You will discover the secrets of its formation and hear tales of historical and prehistoric events related to these fascinating underground environments.
Tasting of typical products:
We will end with a mouth-watering stop; you will taste honey, wines and other Etnean specialties directly from local producers, combining taste and tradition.

On arrival
This tour is designed for those who have their own vehicle. However, I can offer a free ride for up to 4 people.
The first meeting point in Catania is at 8:30 am: Piazza della Borsa, in front of the BPER Banca ATM.
The second meeting point on Etna is at 9:45 a.m.: Bar Ristorante Crateri Silvestri, Piazzale Crateri Silvestri, 95030 Nicolosi (CT).
To fully enjoy the experience, hiking shoes or sneakers are recommended. If you don't have them, we have a limited number of pairs available for loan; write to us when booking.
Things to note
People with open sandals/shoes are not allowed.
It is not recommended for people with cardiovascular disease.
