Welcome to Chengdu! My name is Mingrui, and I am a native of this vibrant city. Currently, I am pursuing my postgraduate studies at a university in the United Kingdom, which has equipped me with proficiency in Mandarin, Sichuanese, and English.

I am delighted to offer my services to international visitors, providing not only translation but also deep cultural insights into Chengdu. My services include detailed explanations of the city's rich heritage, guided tours of its renowned attractions, and opportunities to savor its exquisite cuisine.

N.B.: Chengdu is an incredibly large city, and with limited time, I might only be able to guide international visitors to 1-2 attractions. Therefore, it would be very helpful if you could let me know in advance which sites you’re interested in visiting. However, if you haven’t made a decision yet, please don’t worry. You can simply tell me if you’d like to learn about Chengdu’s history and culture or experience the local modern lifestyle, and I can provide suggestions. The duration of the tour can be adjusted according to your needs, typically ranging from 2 to 5 hours.

On arrival

I will meet you at the entrance of Jinli Ancient, letting me know your travel plans in advance would be helpful! I’ve listed the main attractions I cover, but I’m happy to customize your trip. If you don’t have a specific place in mind or haven’t informed me of your plans in advance, our itinerary for the day will be a visit to Jinli Ancient Street. I’ll be waiting for you at the entrance to Jinli. Street.

Things to note

Unfortunately, the attractions I mainly cover are near the city center, so the Giant Panda Base might not be an option. If you’re unsure where to go, I’ve prepared a document with suggestions, and I’d be happy to share it with you if needed. Additionally, many attractions require advance tickets or reservations, so deciding about five days in advance would be wise.
