Copenhagen Classic Tour: A City Between Walls

Before being the great city we all know, this small merchant port had to be defended behind large walls you cannot see now. Come discover the secrets hidden behind the walls: their importance, fall, rebirth, and present day. On this tour you will be able to see buildings of imposing beauty such as the Round Tower or Rosenborg Palace. You will also have the opportunity to buy delicious local food at our Torvehallerne market.

Our tours are free to join, we kindly ask that you tip the tour guide directly at the end of the tour based on what you think the tour is worth! Our tour guides also have credit card readers, giving you a more convenient and safe way to pay your tour guide directly.

Please note that this tour is created for individual travelers and small groups. Guests traveling in groups of 6 or more are welcome to book a private tour.

We meet at Højbro Plads by the statue of Bishop Absalon.
Højbro Plads is centrally located in between the main shopping street Strøget and the metro station Gammel Strand.
Look for the guides with the green name tags and green umbrellas.
