Cordoba: Tapas Guided Tour
Overview of the tour in Cordoba
With this tour it will be discovered the history of the city and the most emblematic places of our historical centre with the gastronomy. It will be tasted three tapas based in the different historical times of the city. 2-hours guided tour not only to take the tapas but to walk around our city in the night too.
The tour will start in Plaza del Potro. Your guide will be there waiting for you with an orange umbrella. The first tapa that it will be tasted is the mazamorra: a delicious soup of bread and oil that comes from the Roman times.
The tour continues around the Roman Bridge , whose history will be told by our guide. Then, the second "tapa” is “berenjenas califales” (aubergine with honey). With this food, we will take back to the Muslim time of Córdoba, due to this vegetable was introduced in the peninsula by the Mulims.
Then, the third tapa will take place: “rabo de toro” (oxtail). With this food, we will tell you about the Christian conquest and this stage of the city.
We will finish the tour in a wonderful top terrace where it will be enjoyed the best view of Córdoba in the night: The Mosque-Cathedral. There, a local wine will be the end of this 2-hours tour.
