Cuenca at Sunset Free Tour
Overview of the tour in Cuenca
This tour is different from the morning tour and, therefore, compatible with it. Many travelers are glad to have done both in order to get to know the historic center in its entirety.
As if that were not enough, the final part of the tour takes place under the dim light of the lanterns hanging over cobblestone streets and centuries-old passages.
We will walk through the upper part of the city, walking along the most beautiful street of the old town: the Ronda de Julián Romero. It is a neighborhood full of palaces and viewpoints to both the Hoz del Júcar and Huécar.
After learning about the history of the old Colegio de San José and delighting us with several spectacular viewpoints we will arrive at the former Tribunal of the Inquisition to hallucinate with its terrible history and enjoy an epic sunset.
Then we will descend the lonely Ronda del Júcar and enjoy the illuminated facades of the Cathedral and the Hanging Houses, to finish discovering the bizarre history of the Bridge of San Pablo.
