Beginning of the Tour: 8:30 am / 12:40 pm approx
Our Cusco City Tour will start with the pick-up time from your hotel (it must be in the city center). Our first stop is the renowned Cusco Cathedral, where you'll admire exquisite colonial art, intricate altars, and historic religious artifacts.
Next, we’ll stroll to the Temple of the Sun "Qorikancha", to see amazing stone walls that were once covered in gold to symbolize the sun, showcasing advanced Inca masonry. Today, it features the original Inca ruins alongside a Spanish colonial church, reflecting a fusion of architectural styles.
After a 15-minute ride, our first stop will be Sacsayhuaman, known for its massive rocks weighing over 100 tons each. You'll learn about the history, culture, and significance of this stunning site.
Then a short 5-minute drive from Sacsayhuaman will bring us to Qenqo, where you'll see its mystical altar, then visit PukaPukara (the Red Fort) and Tambomachay (the Temple of Water).
Our Cusco City Tour Half Day concludes around 6:30 pm, and we’ll return you to the city center (main square of Cusco) or, if you opted for private service, to your hotel.
