Overview

Hello, my name is Frank, and I'm the leader of the free tour team. Myself, Isaias, and Joshua are local guides, and the tour we've designed is perfect for exploring the city of Cusco in a fun way, where you can get to know our customs, traditions, and history. During the approximately 2-hour journey, we'll reach the historic center of Cusco where, in addition to the historic center, we will see:

-The Main Square
-The Cathedral
-The compañia of Jesus Church
-The Last Street - Inca Street Loreto
-The Coricancha or Temple of the Sun
-Pachacútec Palace
-Inca Roca Palace
-The 12-Angle Stone
-The San Blas neighborhood: where beautiful colonial streets from the 16th and 17th centuries, like Pasñapacana Street, Tandapata Street, and Cuesta San Blas, offer picturesque spots for taking photos.

We will visit the Olave family's home, one of Cusco's finest artisans, and reach the viewpoint where we'll have a panoramic view of the city of Cusco.

“Excellent intro to Cusco!”

Highly recommend this tour, as it provides an excellent introduction to Cusco. Our guide Isa gave a lot of great information about the city and the Inca empire. Since you don't walk too far and the climb at the end of the tour is moderate, it is a good tour to take on your first or second day here to acclimatize.

“Totally worth it!”

Overall a unique experience! An excellent breakfast and lunch was provided to us! The roads until we get from Cusco to the hiking starting point are rough but we never felt unsafe with our van driver. The hiking trail is difficult for the ones that are not that use to hike. Our tour guide, Hilthon, provided us with hiking sticks that helped a lot. We arrived at the lake completed exhausted but it was totally worth it! Beautiful place, amazing. The tour guide also had a lot of patience for the slower ones and provided us great insights about this unique place. I recommend this tour.

“Fun and interesting guided tour”

Walter took us on a fun and very interesting guided tour of the city of Cusco. The group was small (only 6) making it easy to ask questions and to walk around without having to wait long for the group. I really liked how Walter was giving us teaser for next stops to keep our interest going and exciting for what was to come next. The tour included stops at historical sites but also cultural ones (like learning about corn, potatoes and chocolate). And what a perfect way to end the tour with a Pisco sour!
