Cusco's Historical Walking Tour
Overview of the tour in Cusco
We will start our visit to Plaza de Armas, an important space from the time of the Inca. Here, we have an introduction to the history of the Inca civilization and the importance of the main square. He heads to the Sun’s street. We will visit one of the last Inca walls that resisted earthquakes and the magnificent architecture that housed the chosen Inca women.
We visit a patio to meet a llama and an alpaca, learn to differentiate them, and learn about the traditional beverage of the Incas. We head south to visit Coricancha, the main temple of the Incas. We will view the amazing exterior wall and the importance of this place for the Inca festivities. Our next stop will be the place of birth of one of the most prominent Incas, Pachacuti, the reformer of the world.
We will visit another Inca palace and marvel at the site its amazing walls, and learn about the fast development of the Inca civilization. We have a small stop at a local chocolate store and enjoy the local chocolate flavors and products. We will marvel at viewing the popular street with the 12 angles stone, a unique stone that has 12 sides. We visit Plazoleta Nazarenas and the viewpoint of San Cristobal at the end.
