Overview of the tour in Dar es Salaam

Bongoyo Island Day Trip Itinerary

9:00 AM: Morning pick-up at your hotel or meeting point at Mbezi Open Beach.

9:30 AM: Enjoy a scenic 20-30 minute boat ride to Bongoyo Island.

10:00 AM: Arrive at Bongoyo Island. Receive snorkeling gear for an underwater adventure to explore the vibrant aquatic world, spotting exotic marine life such as crabs and sometimes even dolphins.

11:30 AM: Relax on the pristine beaches under a thatched umbrella or explore hiking trails lined with baobab trees and old German mansions.

1:00 PM: Savor an amazing lunch featuring French fries and fresh seafood at the open-air snack bar.

2:00 PM: Continue to relax, swim, or snorkel, enjoying the beautiful surroundings and the tranquility of the island.

4:40 PM: Depart from Bongoyo Island and take the boat ride back to the mainland.

5:20 PM: Arrive back at the bank and be picked up by our vehicle for return to your hotel or home.
