Old Delhi - Explore the Beauty
Overview of the tour in Delhi
Our day begins at the Chawri Bazaar Metro Station in Old Delhi, where we step into a world of timeless charm. This vibrant part of the city has captivated visitors for centuries, offering a blend of exceptional street food, historic markets, ancient monuments, and an array of religious sites, including India's largest mosque.
Our adventure commences with a stroll through the bustling bazaar near the subway, where hardworking locals navigate narrow alleys with heavy carts. We then pause to admire the 17th-century Jama Masjid mosque. Our journey continues into the wedding paraphernalia market, Kinaari Bazaar, where we take a delightful break for a cup of masala chai, India's national drink, before indulging in local favorites – Paranthas!
I'll lead you down a hidden laneway, perfect for photo opportunities in front of beautifully painted havelis (19th-century mansions). Our exploration carries us to Khari-Baoli, Asia's largest spice market, where the senses come alive with an array of fragrant spices.
