Old Delhi Walk: Jama Masjid, Spice Market, Sikh Temple & Rickshaw Ride
Overview of the tour in Delhi
In 2.5 hours, you will be able to see what was once called a great walled part of the national capital. Arrive at the given meeting point in Connaught Place. We will onboard the fussy yet robust Delhi metro to Chawri Bazar.
From there we will walk through the chaotic lanes to the Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in the Asian continent. Watch the magnificent site, and note the architectural style of the Islamic era as we on to our next destination i.e. Dariba Kalam. Dariba Kalan is one of the oldest markets, it’s truly a gem for shoppers who love jewelry & antiques.
Following this, we will head to the wholesale market Kinari Bazar. Fancy paper items, laces, bead works, decorations & so much more to check out here. After this Bazar, we’ll go to Naughara (nine homes), the quiet sweet Chandni Chowk alley followed by Jain Swetamber Mandir in the end stays charming as ever. Next, our guide will take you to the centuries-old Sis Ganj Gurudwara, dedicated to the ninth Sikh Guru. Dive into the calmness till we head to our last destination, Khari Baoli Spice Market.
